and here is this months cp:
http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~origami/e/app ... izard.html
Apprentice Of Wizard by Miyajima Noboru
diagrams can be found in "licence to fold", but i encourage you to try it yourself, as this contest is meant to improve cp-skills. Good luck!

i dont see any harm in you, doing this model, even though you already have folded it, as long as you give away refernce points, you know from the diagrams, to all, who want to attempt this model...also i would hope, that you dont use folding methods you know from the diagrams, but try to collapse the cp :)
for the reason why i choose this model:
i dont know really many websites with good cps (only around 5), and as the number of participants was lowering, i wanted to choose a model with a fairly easy structure, but a good-looking result. This was the model which fitted the requirements the most :)
I am looking forward to seeing your attempt

you should use paper with different colours on each sides for the colour change... as the model is not really hard i would recommend standard origami paper, but there arent any rules for type or size.
good luck ;)

For the future challenges, I suggest using cps, that weren't diagrammed (just to be sure)

I TOTALLY agree. It's super hard to tell even with a model like this. try the "cp's and diagrams" group of flickr maybe?
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....

i agree with ben, we should find cp's on flickr, as most aren't diagrammed. maybe the runner up of the month can choose who's flickr the cp should come from or something? it is unfair if people use the diagrams. :/

If people use diagrams it's their loss.

Yeah, totally agree... We shouldn't choose CPs that have diagrams. I can quite easily fold this model from diagrams but completely failed when tried folding it from cp...

Haha well I have failed at all the CPs so far in the monthly challenges... Yet could fold attack of the kraken first try without testfolding without any problems... :)
