Good to see that the duels started, please take the examples and start your duels as soon as possible: origamifan11, malifold.

About multiple entries: I was asked why i didnt allow them.
tschobigami wrote:Well if you want to do multiple entries, do it. But I said that for a few reasons:
a) it is easier to vote. If one has 3 entries and the other one only one entry and the quality of the three entries differs a lot, it is hard to decide in my opinion. one on one is a fair vote
b) if you want to do more than one object, you can design more (and also show all of them) but only submit one for voting. You should be able to decide which one is the best and so make it easier to decide and allow a fairer voting with more realistic results
c) 3 weeks is not a long time to do a good design. If you really want a good design with a good structure, a shaping that you like, a good photo and so on, you will need a lot of thinking testfolds etc. and in my opinion there is always something to improve. I am almost never really statisfied with my designs/ folds so why dont you use time that you have left to improve your design, to make it a high-quality design and fold, which has way better chances to win?

Well this is just my opinion. If you still like to do multiple entries, agree on it with your opponent and do as you wish :)

I tried to contact malifold and origamifan11 both via email, but neither of them answered until now. If they dont post there topics within the next days, you and "myself" both will advance to the next round. You could still do a fun "warm-up"-duell against each other

Let's just hope malifold and origamifan11 will post a topic soon. If not, a warm-up duel sounds good to me.

I have no reply from TheNewOrigamist for the tournament.
I do not know if he still wants to participate.

Just an idea for the 3 not started groups.
Maybe someone else can choose from the three topics for JAPC so he can start to design and TheNewOrigamist can start when he is back again. It would be his self-inflicted disadvantage.
Also Swapnil and myself could post three topics and somebody choose one for them so that they can start too.

I think that's a very good idea. Once I have the permission of tschobigami, I'll think of a few interesting topics.

I agree with quiet maverick, and think that someone should pick one of my themes. I suggest that tschobigami should choose because he is the tournament organizer.

so origamifan11 and Origamigeek replied. all good with them i guess.
For JAPC and swapnil:
swapnil, please post your topics and i will choose one of them, as well as i will choose one of JAPC's topics.
If both of your opponents dont reply, you could still think about a warm-up duel then.
Hope this will get better in the next rounds...
