Monthly Folding Challenge - June 2014
Hello everyone!
Because June is the first month of summer, this month's theme will be Holiday
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Sebl's Jaws
Razzmatazz's dripping ice cone.
Rules:
-Any regular convex polygon allowed (e.g. square, hexagon, octagon)
-No cutting, no pasting
-Multiple sheets allowed, as long as they're all the same shape
-MC shaping is allowed
-You can submit as many models as you want
JAPC will be the judge and will also choose the July theme.

Well, the subject is Holiday, it doesn't explicitly state summer holiday, you surely have winter holidays too in Australia?

"Holiday" made me think of heading to the beach, so here's a beach-ball:

Beach Ball 02 by yagowe, on Flickr
It's basically a water-bomb, with a blintz and some swivel-folds for the colour change.

Great idea!
P.S. question: is a book within the confines of this challenge? Reading is a free time activity too

@origamipete Well, you didn't design it for the challenge. You can post it if you want to.

I know it would be a stretch, I'll make something else and submit that instead.GrossMichael wrote:@origamipete Well, you didn't design it for the challenge. You can post it if you want to.

Re: Monthly Folding Challenge - June 2014
Does it have to be made by you or can you use someone else's design?
