I mean anything related to the ancient Greek and Roman period like architecture, tools, scientific advancements etc. I just found out that I should have used the term "classical antiquity". I've been playing "Civilization V" a lot lately so that's where the terminology confusion came from. Sorry for that. Hope this makes things clear.

I designed this Roman helmet for the challenge two weeks ago. I wanted to try to design a second helmet-idea but have not found the time. I'm on a selling the next 3 days so this is my entry

Looks great! Being a fan of Ancient Rome and Greece, I really like this model! However, it is more of an Athenian Helmet than a Roman one. The difference is mainly the part in the middle that separates the eyes, which the Roman helmets don't have. Another difference is the part that protects the sides of the face. A Roman one has those further to the sides and an Athenian one has them like yours. Anyway, still a brilliant model!

Thank you very much for your elucidation. I had no idea of ancient helmets. So I used google and it was very confusing because there where so many helmets and descriptions^^ Also I had some helmet forms in my head and tried to work with them. It's not that important for me what helmet I designed but it's cool to know that it's kind of Athenian helmet

I'm so sorry for being late guys...Been studying a lot lately and got some time yesterday but I wasn't able to finish the model completely... So here is what i got so far:

I'm okay with it if quiet maverick is. I agree that you minotaur looks great! It's a shame you can't finish it yet, but I'm sure that won't be a problem with the voting.
