For this month I'll chose something that I like to fold a lot because it's such a wide theme.
So, for this month the theme is MASKS.
Humans, animals, monsters, superheroes, you can fold whatever your imagination dictates
Rules:
- No cut
- No glue
- One square
Good luck and have fun!

I have what I think is a pretty good idea for this. The fold should be done within a few days. : D
two real folds in one uncut square of canson paper

Origami Letterman,
This is the second of 4 folds that I will use for the final model to be called "Mount Talksmore".
This one shows a bit of the preliminary work - such as drawing or tracing to show the potential lines for folding.
The fold shown here is a folded square of velum so I can see where the pleats and curves interact.
The final fold will be four faces from one long rectangle and each face segment will be an approximate 12 by 18 rectangle (part of the final rectangle) (perhaps longer for faces with extra features like glasses).

Angry Bear mask
wet folded from a 50cm square of murano paper. Unfortunatly, this poor photo doesn't show the nose very well.
It would fit on my head if I used a bigger sheet. Also comes with face chomping action.

I'm still working on "Mount Talksmore" but here is :
1 Mask - 4 faces - one square
The match is attached to the washer with a magnet that is folded into a pocket in the top of the mask - No Glue - No Cuts

Wow, I didn't expect to be judging this many entries in a month. This was a very tough decision. Everybody did very well with their designs, however I must pick three so here they are:
3) Splatter Mask by Baltorigamist
A very detailed mask and nice use of the waterbomb corrugation!
2) Cat and mouse by firstfold
Clever combination of a minmalist design and action model!
1) Druid Mask by Edg
Fantastic work with the wetfolding, The texture of the hair is well done and I like the shape of the mask that hints at it coming from a square.
So there it is! Edg will judge September's challenge(as soon as I think of one) and come up with October's theme
