But even in the mail with the tasks there is:
The deadline for uploading is - 15 November, 2016

That is not clearly worded.
Never mind.

I don't mind waiting a couple days more if it means you not rushing it =)
Especially given the amazing job you've already done !

I agree. Very excited for the results, but certainly give judging all the time you need to! Thank you once again for organizing this great contest - I realize how much work it must be.

One and a half months later an still no results. How are the bets that we get the results for IOIO 2016 in 2016 still? Only one day to go until next year.

I agree with Anna, a quick update would be greatly appreciated (e.g are we talking about hours/days/weeks, given the jury's possibilities), it would sure help the frantic wait for the results ;-)

Dear friends and colleagues!!!

This long-awaited moment has come.
It's time to reveal the results of the Sixth International Origami Olympiad. I am proud to congratulate you on behalf of all judges!
This year's works were performed with such professionalism that until the very end all members of the Jury had absolutely no idea about who was going to win.
The challenge wasn't easy: only 30 of 214 contestants managed to complete all 15 tasks. They are highlighted with green color in the final chart.

Medals:
By tradition our Olympiad features the medal system. Essentially, each judge chooses the best works in every nomination and rewards them with bonus points equal to 30%, 20% or 10% of maximum score for a given task. Works with the highest final score are then awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals.

Team rankings:
Apart from the personal contest there is also the team ranking which considers all participants from the same country as a team. Their medals are summed: a gold medal brings 3 points to a team, a silver brings 2 points and a bronze brings 1 point.

And finally I remind you that all the jury members are mere humans and they can make mistakes. So it is perfectly natural to disagree with some of the jury's decisions.
If you have any questions or suggestions about the Olympiad, feel free to write them here or in the official group on Flickr, Facebook, Twitter.
Please post the photos of your olympiad works there.

Jury members:
- Andrey Ermakov (Russia)

Woohoo, the long-awaited results \o/

First of all, thanks to Andrey and the whole jury, and the organizers, for those Olympiads and the amount of work behind them. It was a great pleasure participating, and some marvelous works we see here were completely worth the wait.

Congrats to Hubert Villeneuve, who seats on top of the origami competitive world for the year, and to all winners for their works !
