Not bad, first attempt on the Olympiad and got the 13th place. Waited for the results a bit too long, but there was a lot of photos to analyze that's for sure. Thanks to the organizers that made this nice Olympiad and great work to authors of the tasks, was a challenge to fold all that.

Congratulations for the winners!

Thank you for giving us a chance to tackle a wonderful challenge. I cannot forget that, if I got an incredible amount of work to do, you had to work much more than me. Thank you for spending so much time for us :D

Thank you very much for organizing this Olympiad with some very interesting designs!

Congratulations to the winners and medal owners! All others should also consider themselves successful.

Hopefully there will be a new Olympiad this year, despite the whole lot of work for you, associated with designing, diagramming and judging the folds.

Thank you really much, Andrey, and all the jury ! It was great. This year, there were lots of tasks from different levels, and just 2 CP with one easy : it was very comfortable to choose the tasks we wanted to fold, more than the year before.

I just saw a mistake in your message, Anita Raj is from Canada, not from China.

"Bravo" to all the participants !

1st place! YEARGH!!!

It's surprising to see that the number of medals is not representative of the final rank. Even Alexander Mironenko, in 2nd place, only got one!

Congrats to everyone who participated, and a big thanks to the Olympiad committee!

Good news!

As you might have noticed, there is a tiny gap between the 3rd and the 4th places:
Pei Haozheng scored 397.7 points while Ivan Svatko scored 397.6.
At this highest level of mastery it becomes very difficult to measure the artistry with numbers.
We decided that it would be absolutely fair to share the 3rd place between these two contestants.
So IOIO-2016 becomes the first international origami olympiad to have four champions.

Updated results:

1st place: Hubert Villeneuve (Canada)
2nd place: Alexander Mironenko (Russia)
:!: 3rd place: Pei Haozheng (China)
AND
:!: 3rd place: Ivan Svatko (Ukraine)

Congratulations to the winners!
