ODT6 R1: Baltorigamist vs Bodo

Post by Baltorigamist »

Alright, this should be interesting.

Topics:
The Arts
Extinct Animals
Uncommon Subjects - design something that not many people have done

Rules:
One uncut square. MC allowed for shaping.

I guess the deadline is the end of August, then? Good luck! (:

I choose extinct animals :D
but the other topics are interesting too.
Am I allowed to submit more than one model ?
Good luck !! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I don't see why not.

And same.

I think we should rule out animals that are too similar to species that are still alive. That makes it more fun. :D

Dodo
designed and folded by me
ImageDodo by bodorigami, auf Flickr
tissue/mulberry paper 28x28 cm
based on a birdbase with grafts. The design is really simple, so i was really fast :D
I hope that this is not too similar to any living animal. I agree with the new rule.

It's kind of a long story, but I might be delayed a couple days due to a warped cutting mat. I've finished the design and treated the paper for it, but I can't cut the paper square to fold it until this weekend at the earliest.

Just letting you know--hopefully it won't affect the deadline too much.

---
EDIT: Finally got a new cutting mat. I'll do my best to have my entry done by the 24th or so.

My design ended up being more complex than I anticipated, and life has been insanely busy for me lately, and so there's virtually no chance of me finishing my model by tomorrow. I'd really like the chance to stay in the tournament, so you can pick a reasonable deadline for me if you want--at least a few days.
Sorry for being so delayed.

Is to the 28th enough time for you ? then there would be 3 days for the poll. But it would be great if you could finish earlier.

Possibly. I'll try to finish what I can by then, but unfortunately I can't make any promises.
It's honestly frustrating because I know I'll finish the model eventually; it just might take more time than I have for this round.
