ODT#6 chesscuber98 vs yagowe

Post by chesscuber98 »

First off, sorry I saw this so late. Without further delays,
Topics:
1. Two in One Models: Basically, anything that incorporates two significant figures from a single sheet of paper.
2. Pattern Grafts: A model that incorporates a tessellation or pattern in it
3. Greek Mythology: Anything related to greek mythology, animate or inanimate.

Rules:
Paper: One sheet of paper, no cuts, no glue (except for shaping ofcourse), any regular polygon + rectangles allowed.

I am not sure if the rules have been changed from the earlier ODTs, but if you have any problems with the topics or rules, feel free to tell me.

That's a tough choice, they all sound fun. I'll go with Two in One. The rules all sound completely fair to me.

I'm sorry to say that I'll have to concede. Work got suddenly and unexpectedly busy right at the beginning of August (worst timing ever) and I'm had no leisure time for folding at all. There's no way I'll be able to have anything ready by the end of the month.

Unfortunate to hear that. However it will only be fair for me to continue if I get an entry in as well.
I will try my best with college getting more hectic by the day.

So it seems that the possibility of extending the deadline to the end of September exists. I think I should be able to get something designed and folded in that timeframe. Does a new deadline work for you?

Just sneaking in under the deadline. Cactus and two snakes from a single square of paper.

I am so glad you could get an entry across.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get an entry in. Its a great model and by all means you deserve to go forward in the contest. Good luck further :)
