Monthly Folding Challenge September 2016

Post by Edg »

The recent discovery of a potential home for life orbiting our nearest neighbouring star is the inspiration for this months theme: Alien Life Forms.
What might life on other worlds be like? Will it be somehow familiar or truly alien?

Rules: From a square/squares
No cuts

Gerardo will be the judge.

Would models of copyrighted characters (e.g. Star Wars) be allowed?

Copyrighted subject of the model matters only when you are submitting the model to a official contests that awards the model.

As judge, I wanted to let you know that I give more importance to aesthetics and creativity than to complexity. A well folded model and a decent picture also helps to highlight a good design.

Hope that helps. Have fun creating :D.

I've got an idea for this month that plays with the concept a bit. I just need to make more paper.

Don't worry, you still have time Nepafarius. Or how about coming up with a diferent idea? When I was convinced I wasm't able to create a balance from a single sheet of paper I moved to the idea of creating a lever.
