Something fishy coming your way here (folded from a 15cm square of Japanese foil)

The base for this model is rather simple, half bird(base) half frog(base). I'll leave it to biologists and genetic engineers to figure out how that works...

Getting all the fins colour-changed is a bit more tricky but do-able as you can see.

Because the model is rather easy and has a nice folding sequence I might draw diagrams (maybe for the christmas book), at least for the "light" version without the colour-changes.
So long and keep folding ^_^

I've got something that's a bit of a stretch, but this poor contest is so lonely and bare:

Lugia (yet another Pokemon), designed by me last night.

Hey, it is the Guardian of the oceans in the Pokemon world, plus in some games you find it in a cave under the sea. At least it could bring luck to your fishtank

Darn I was thinking about doing a goldfish snack. Although Cupcake yours is really, really good. I think you should fold it out of yellow paper for the cheddar.
Ahhh that makes me hungry...

Oh well. Here's my flying fish

Android Raptor, nice Lugia. I recognised that right away because I'm a Pokemon fan myself, although one would need a really big fishtank...

Umm... the paper that I used for my goldfish is yellow.
You can go ahead and try the same thing, I'm interested in seeing how it ends up.

I like the goldfish. Simple yet clever

I designed a sword fish. It is folded from a 10 inch square of Japanese foil.

*thank you Nathan for showing me how to post picture*

Oh is the goldfish yellow, Cupcake? It looks to me like a pale greyish tanish color. My photos' colors get messed up often- did that happen with the goldfish? I'll fold the goldfish soon.*

Ian, I love the fins on the top of the swordfish

*Edit: Cupcake I went to your website and looked at the section for the goldfish. I can't figure out how to get my fish base sitting in front of me efficiently into your goldfish. Any instructions? Is top of the model clean? Are the little rabbit ears from the fish base used? Is the tail made from one flap? Am I thinking too much? *
*Edit: I reread the post and saw it's from a KITE base, not a FISH base. ( I feel stupid now  ). Here's my fold (2 photos):

As suggested by Gadi I folded a pearl oyster (with the pearl):
