Man that is one nice Guinea Pig! Congrats! I can't think of a better tribute for Panda! That is definitely worth diagramming! if you are do, make sure to submit it to Origami Tanteidan or Origami USA for their convention books, I'm sure they's love to include it! Looking forward to seeing your next design!

Andrew
If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

I have actually already made diagrams for my guinea pig. Though it isn't the Panda variation or the variation with the toes (the CP for that is on my flickr page). I have them finished, but I would like someone to test fold them...

Wow, that looks so real! Impressing, also without toes.

Wow ! The color-change and wetfold make the guinea pig model really striking. I vote to freeze this design as the Panda variation.

Is there enough paper to use a point-split to make tiny toes, rather than the larger toes from the previous model ?

I read that both Yoshizawa and Lang each work 25 years to perfect a model... let us know :-)

Anermak: I like the pose and the head/face of the giraffe. He looks like he is prancing.

That giraffe is cool except I think the ears are a bit to big.

It looks more like a fawn than a giraffe. Even the giant ears match.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

I think the big ears are a perfect choice for this model. Excelent work, anermak!

Thi is going to be a very tough one for me to judge. A lot of very "cute" entires. I will give my answer betweemn 11 PM and 12 PM, Central Standard Time (Chicago). The time her now is 9:32. That gives you about 14 more hours to get that last entry in. This is a bit later than GMT but this one also started a bit late.

I will also will anounce the new theme and start a strand for the September contest at that time.
