That tank is fabulous. It looks pretty wetfolded to me! Just wondering, how did you do the wheels.

That's a nice set of planes. They look really good, and it's even better that they can actually fly too!

Excellent planes. With a few minor modifications, you could also fold the F-35 from the F-22 base.

Luna Chakram
from a 48cm square of foil paper with thin kraft paper glued on the white side

Image

This is a throwing weapon used by Sun Shang Xiang in the awesome Dynasty Warriors computer games.

Thanks to its weight it really does fly quite good, but due to space problems and insufficient filming talent I wasn't able to capture its real abilities in this video:

So long and keep folding ^_^

Wow, I like the planes and the Luna Chakram, the tanks cool, but I think that wetfolding looks a bit odd sometimes, makes it look too....mmm....'plastery'....kind of like it's a tank wrapped in loose gift paper?

I think he used tissue foil, and used then end of a pipe or something to form the wheels. It's very imaginative though, and a nice design.

Model of the tank very simple... I used a firm basis for giving the form of separate parts....

The side of square about 75 sm

Give me a huge sheet of a paper and I will be doing battleship 8)

And as whole, I am not able to do difficult models....

The Battle of Hampton Roads was the first battle between Iron Clad Ships during the United States Civil War in 1862. The USS Monitor was built by the Northern states and has been described as a wheel of cheese on a cracker. The CSS Virginia was originally the Merimack, a Northern Ship. The South captured this ship and plated the ship with Iron. The battle was generally considered a tie although both sides claimed victory.

Each ship is folded from one square of very heavy foil paper. These models are actually my first step in working out a future model. The size of the ships is a bit of an illusion. I used the same size paper for each ship making the Monitor larger than the Virginia. I used photoshop to reduce the size of the Monitor so that the scale was a bit more accurate. I ommited a lot of detail on these two ships and had to play with scale so that the final version could be possible. I will be making another version that combines both ships and a bit of water between into one sheet of paper (a long rectangle). With the exception of the patch of water in the middle the one sheet combined model should have a nearly identical look. The Monitor is a too wide but this dimension is easily adjusted.

Two battleships and a River out of one sheet of paper.

The USS Monitor and the CSS Virginia along with a bit of the river is folded from one 12" by 48" sheet of gold foil. The white back was painted with acrylic paint to simulate the water. I had planned to do a tesselation to make the water wavy but the paper is starting to tear from over-folding.

Image

Pehaps the most interesting part of this fold was the curved turret fold for the USS monitor - here is a how to movie (just the turret fold)":
