Wow! Nuluk, that's looking more and more impressive. Very nice. I especially like the face and the sculpting of the torso.

Thanks for your comments Spiritofcat and Kijjakarn.
I worked a lot for this folding, but it is a great enjoyment to see a character coming out of a paper sheet.
I 'll try now to add grafts in order to have a real thumb... and paper in the arms and legs to fold them better :)

i surrender. The equestrian warrior can not be fold from a square. it too thick. I think an origami models don't need to be a square. Anyway! rule is steel. So i withdraw this examination. But. I will pot the next version in here. Is it ok?

@satsukawa:
welcome to the forum!
did you try the effect of changing colours with that interesting knight? is it a long beard he wears on his chest? could you please post another picture illustrating the right side of the man?

though being not qualified for this challenge and having used just the half of a square to fold each one, i'd like to post two little boxpleated guys in here - just to show that every months' challenge does inspire the interested member to try even a new field of origami-do ...

I decided that I'd revisit the subject matter of my August challenge submission. A vastly more complicated take on a Wizard:

Very cool idea :-)
The arms (length and position) need a little bit of work though.
So long and keep folding ^_^

The Swimmer - Version two
I tried the color reverse on the hair but I thought it distracted from the flow of the model:
I have elongated the arms in this version.

Very good firstfold. The hair makes the head more headlike.

Nice one topsu... looks like he's got a knit sweater and a fur trimmed hoodie on.

And nice swimmer firstfold... now all you need is a giant shark coming up behind it.

The world's worst photographer now has a flickr account... enjoy!
