Hey Everyone,
It's time again for our annual Chinese Zodiac design challenge! This year's animal is the Dragon; any kind of dragon, really, but seeing as it's 2012, I would really like to see a Mesoamerican one.
To enter, post a photo here, along with the number & shape of papers used and a title for the model. Multiple submissions are allowed but they *MUST* have different titles, otherwise they will be treated as the same model. Please submit your own designs only.
Submissions will be closed on January 29th, at which point I'll put up a poll; voting will end on February 5th, and a winner will be declared.
Check out previous challenges for some inspiration:

Does it need to be designed during the period of this challenge, or are older designs allowed?

The model should be folded during the period of this challenge, and should be a recent design even if it's not a new one. But do keep in mind that the point of the contest is to get you to design more

This looks like fun! I'll try to find time to design a dragon.

That's a short delay
I've been intending to give a dragon a shot for a while, but a new, interesting design might take a bit longer... Dragons are harder to tame than rabbits, I'm told...

Here's my entry. You said you wanted a Mesoamerican dragon, and in my mind that means Quetzalcoatl, often shown as a feathered serpent.

Nice dragons everyone!
I tried to design a Quetzalcoatl as well, but only had enough time to fold a half scale test fold. The paper was too small, so I couldn't really fold a head. Also the wings didn't succeed either...
I'll refold it as soon as possible with bigger and better paper.
So, here is my (failed) entry, Quetzalcoatl 1.0, from a 25x25 tissue-foil piece of paper:

Here is my dragon. The belly pleats were inspired by Satoshi Kamiya's spinosaurus. I tried to go for a little more cartoonish look.
