ODT#2- round 1-Alexorigami vs. Wilsonorigami

I tried to choose some unusual topics, not the usual mammals and sea life etc. I hope these choices will not be considered too restrictive. Here they are:
1.Color-changed, 6-piece modulars
2.Butterflies designed using LaFosse's system. An example cam be found here: http://www.pem.org/sites/origami/ at "fold more models"
3. Tessellations that use more techniques. I don't mean stuff like triangle and hexagon twists together or something the like, but more different techniques, maybe 60 and 90 or 25 degree angles together with star puffs, etc.
If anything is unclear, just tell me. Good luck and may the best win!

Those are certainly some unusual topics. I don't have much experience with modulars or tessellations, so I will go with the butterflies. May the best designer win!

I guess I'll go first. Here are a few variations I came up with:

First try:

Each from a 15 cm square of double kami. I used glue for shaping and fixing the layers together.
I have uploaded them from my phone using the Flickr app, which gave me the possibility of slightly editing both photos. I've only changed the lighting.
Tell me if you're ready for the poll.
