Displaying pictures from websites other than yours

Post by Brimstone »

So I am not sure, for i think I've seen comments from moderators against this, but on the other hand I've seen pictures posted without permission.

Say I want to make a comparison between my model an one from Hojyo Takashi. Can I display his picture (I mean the one of his model)?

I don't think I've said anything about this before. However, it is generally considered bad Nettiquette to deep link to other people's web content, especially without the context of the page it comes from. In a sense, it is stealing bandwidth from them. A better way is to link to the page with the image. Of course, many people don't care...
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

Showing pictures from other websites is ok for me as long as you don´t do as if these where your pictures like one member used to do in the past. So I´d say give proper credit and nobody will say anything against it.

Thank you. I don't think that it will be too much of bandwith theft.
