Can you Iron paper to remove creases, so if you have a half folded model you don't want to continue with, you can iron it out, and remove most of them?

this is something I have done multiple times. it depends on the paper you are using, if your using tracing paper or tissue foil, it obviously won't work. I have done this with success using sekishu, double tissue, origamido, and various other papers of the like. the trick is the wet it (with origamido, just dip it in a pool of water) and then iron it. i've never ruined my paper, but have ruined several irons. be careful.

it is much easier and effective, though, to put the paper on a surface like glass or plastic, and paint it with water or methylcellulose.

I did it with some Kozo which I then proceeded to size with starch, which all in all worked quite nicely.
