A Decent Paper

We did an activity in my Geometry class, and we used some stuff called party paper. It is insane thin, and nearly completely transparent (you can read very well through it). I folded it a little, and it held a crease well. It may be something to look into. Tell me if you have tried it or do try it. Thanks.

Thank you for your suggestion of a thin paper.
It would be helpful to provide some details to identify it.
Hopefully, your teacher might have the commercial packaging, name of company etc.
Any & all identifying information ?
What size does it come in ?
Finally, is the completed model sturdy enough to stand up on it's own ?
Thanks.

I couldn't see a brand. It came in 8.5"x11". That's the only size I can find. It seems like pretty generic stuff, one brand is just like the other.
