Paper for ryujin

Post by Aayan »

I need good paper for a ryujin 2.1 I heard you can use sheets of kraft but kraft is not avalible here. There is a paper called khaki paper I wonder if it will work? Also I can use tracing paper. Recommend good paper please or if these are usable tell me

There are many papers which are good for Ryujin. You should do some test folds (scales, head etc.) from the papers You have and then You'll know which one is the best for this model.

No, printer paper is way too thick. You'll need something very thin, such as tissue paper. Imo, cheap stuff from the corner shop or something should work, after MCing 2 sheets together, but if you want something of a better quality, just look online for something like Unryu or some other handmade tissue paper. Make sure that it's very thin though.

Yeah, I don't think colour really matters aside from for aesthetic purposes. Just be sure to reinforce with MC.

Isn't that the expensive stuff used in wallpapers? And what does reinforce with mc mean? (sorry mc noob here we just use tracing paper to fold here :p)

You can join smaller papers together. I haven't used it much, but I bet tracing paper would work.
