How to make Thai Unryu?

Is it possible to make homemade Thai Unryu in the USA? I dont enjoy buying 1 sheet for 2 bucks :P . Thanks in advance:)

You can buy kozo pulp, but unryu looks like it has some additional long fibers in it as well. Which would entail buying raw fiber, cooking it, and then beating a portion of it and adding the fibers in separately.
In any event it would be handmade paper, which requires a lot more money than $2/sheet to set up. It would probably take you about 300 sheets to get close to breaking even, maybe more like 500, so it is very difficult to justify for saving money on $2 a sheet paper.

i really think it is cheaper and easier to just buy it. i got a good deal at a local art store. i got a sheet about 6x2 feet for 2 dollars.
