Re: Naoki Takeda Santa Claus
On the bottom corners of the CP, I can make out the pattern for the Elias Stretch (I think these are the arms, am I right) but there are some lines going through them. When I try to fold them they undo the stretch. Can anyone give me advice on how to incoroporate them? https://imageshack.com/i/05la43j

They aren't the arms. They are the socks and boots of Santa. Okay, first make the elias-strech and then open the layers along the edge where the creases look like the form a rabbit-ear fold. Then make a rabbit ear fold on those creases and fold the sock where the layers are white. And then wrap the sock around the boots and then put it inside a layer and it's done. Hope it helped!

123: It worked. Thanks. Now I have to work up to the pockets above them

Re: Naoki Takeda Santa Claus
what type of paper are you using?
Re: Naoki Takeda Santa Claus
Mir,
I'm currently working on a rough draft. I'm using plotter paper with the CP printed on it so I can keep track of what I am doing.

Still working this when able. Now I've got my cousin obsessed with it as well. She says we must have two of these completed by Christmas. PS: I've started this six times now. I' m still stuck on the waistpockets

I've been gone for a while. But now I'm back. I never did get this folded but have good news for anyone else who is going to try. Mariano Zavala has posted a step by step tutorial. It's in four parts and almost 8 hours long. At least now we have a guide:
