Easy and impressive?

a good model to do is Jeremy Shafer's venus flytrap. its easy and i amaze my friends with it by making it "eat" erasers at school :D

I recommend Satoshi Kamiya's Ryu Zin, if you can fold from CP's.

i wouldn't exactly call that easy


the lotus which is just a series of blintz folds can be impressive, especially if you fold one then use a square 3/4 the size then put one inside the other. i've done about six or seven layers.
My heart bleeds what little purity I have left through these eyes of mine; leaving me dry inside.

Modular origami is a good way of making impressive results from a number of simply folded units too.
