Re: Fiddler Crab, opus 446 Robert Lang
it looks different, it may be tracing paper/foil due to the shinyness of it.

i folded the CP without much trouble. since the two steps that get you from the base to the finished moded without shaping are gone i am having trouble doing that. i can get a picture of it and hope someone can help me.

Gabriel, I don't see any pictures missing. But if your having trouble with shaping, the diagrams to Chans crab may help you.

When you know that there already is a topic on this subject, then why on earth don't you use it?
I've moved your post there, but please, next time write on the right place right from the beginning.

No, it has to do with the model so therefore it belongs in the model's topic.
The topics for a model are created so that people can post questions about the model in that particular topic instead of created 10,000 other ones with only a few different questions.

Re: Fiddler Crab, opus 446 Robert Lang
So this is your first boxpleated CP? I know this may sound cliche, but try folding some simpler ones first. This is a hard model, I couldn't flatten it on my first try either.
If you still wish to try and finish it, post a picture of your progress so I can see where you are trying to flatten it and give you some pointers.
