Re: The CPs page on Satoshi Kamiya's website
I realize I'm reviving this from about a year ago... but I really like that shishigami.
I have polar white fur tissue, and I think it would have an astounding effect... unless somebody can give a reason why not. Other wise, some help with getting its refernce points right would be awesome.

Re: The CPs page on Satoshi Kamiya's website
If you look closely at the cp. You can see it has both diagonals folded and it has been folded in half on both sides (but only half through)
And then two 22,5 folds from the center to the tail part and then from there on both sides has 45 angle creases that terminate at the crease that comes from folding the square in half (i think). Hope you understand
happy folding

If you could show say in photoshop the angles that your talking about, or where I can place them (solved some CPs before, but this I'm having trouble with) that would be helpful.
Do you mean a 22.5 in the middle, or one of the four corners? Is that one square with the cut off corner right on the middle?
Re: The CPs page on Satoshi Kamiya's website

I highlighted all the creases i was talking about with teal and circled the 22,5 creases.
Hope you understand now.

Sorry for bad picture (ive got only paint)

Hm... it still doesn't really make much sense.
It's alright though, thank you for trying.

They are the same creases as you would get if you made a frog base without the petal folds and unfolded it. Minus the corners, the rest looks pretty basic with some sinks added.
