can someone show me how to do step 180?
I'm lost when it says sink and squash, I don't see sink or squash, and how did the head corner go longer than forelegs?
Thanks a lot

If you're having so much trouble with the model, mabye you should have tried something simpler; however, to answer this, you need to pull the head out farther from the model, it should come easily.

agreed. this model isn't that hard at all. the sequence is just very long winded and the precreasing vexing. the open sinks around steps ~ 80 are annoying because there is no way to open up the model to make the sinks clean. it's interesting to see as you collapse it that it really is a (very) glorified crane.

also, chixiao, i would make it less obvious that you are folding from ill-gotten diagrams.

I'm having some trouble on Steps 83-84. How do you fold through these steps it? Im assuming stretch it out and fold it over?

srry this same question was asked on page 8 but im still unsure about it and id just like to make sure im doing it right. In step 83, do you fold 2 layers or 1 layer on the top part. The pictures on page 6 show 2 layers being folded (if im seeing it right) but someone on page 8 (with another picture) said that its only 1 layer that should be folded over. which one is it? thx

It is both.
See, the are are two layers in the top part, but they are folded as one.
So basically, fold the two as one.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: nvm about the wings... i just improvised and interpreted them my own way sorta. ive finished the model now ^-^ it was my first time folding it and its not perfect, im still sorta new to origami so dont go to hard on me. im just happy i finished it lol. i used wrapping paper so it got kinda thick and ripped easily. constructive criticism is welcome

thank u to all who helped me

heres a pic of it: (yes theres a rubber band, its just temporary tho.)

step 42 is just a squash fold. if u find that there is no layer in the middle to squash... u probably didnt open sink correctly in step 40
