I'm gonna fold this baby soon. I already tried folding it with printer paper just to get a feel of the model. I just joined two A4 papers with a tape, and started folding :D
I didn't expect to go that far, but I actually noticed that I've really screwed up only at step 60 or something. I missed a turn model over sign around 10 steps ago or something, lol. I'm glad I didn't start with the good paper. I've got a nice packaging paper of quite a good size, and I already tested it - it's just wonderful.

When performing this step, you have to push in the sides as shown in the diagram ( the triangles ), using existing creases. This will make the model become 3 dimensional. The crease that is shown as a mountain fold will pop up and you'll have to close the lower flap to flatten the model ( as shown in step 47 ).

Diii please try to write correct English! Use a spell checker if necessary (Firefox has an inbuilt dictionary that is pretty good).

If life was as complex as the Ancient Dragon we would all fail in acclompishing life. For those who can make it, they are the true masters.

Hello everyone!
I've just finished to fold this model for the 1st time, and first of all I'd like to thank users in this thread who make me able to understand some difficult steps :D

Due to a really BAD wrappling paper I couldn't fold it properly and I missed some details....It looks really horrible to me! :( Hope the next will be better! Here it is:

Don't worry about it, Unluckyluke! :)
It takes a long time to fold models such as these well. My first try was awful aswell!

Oh, and welcome to the forum! :)

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your welcome, and for your support too!!! I've just seen your flickr...congrats!!!!!! :)

I tried to fold this model with tissue foil, but it was way too small for me (35 x 35 cm, about 13-14" ) and I failed...I really hope to find a suitable paper...

Funny.. that was the same size that I used (roughly; I never bother measuring the square :P).

Ah well. Work with what you are comfortable with.

Sure!!! It's clear you're far more good and experienced than me... But really I've a lot of trouble with this small(:P) tissue foil (not threated with MC)....it seems too "slick" and I can't fold it accurately...can you understand ?!
