Thank you, the only time I had ever seen his name mentioned on this forum was in this thread. I had seen some of his work on Alex Barber's origami page.

if possible, avoid this edition, if you are really interested in the book. one of the reviews is right; the diagrams look like they are xerox copies of the original.

for the wing part i discoverd the easiest way for me to fold is to fold it inside out still following the creases! aftyer several attempts and failures...
