Haha, the funny thing is, I run Oripa on a mac, and it techncally doesn't realize it's an application. And, I can't export any files to a format that my computer recognizes. If I'd want to save a CP to say, post on the net, I've have to take a screenshot of my screen, haha.

Nonetheless, I only use it and Adobe Illustrator for CP practice, and figure out some of my own designs.

One day I was running ORIPA, and then the next day I tried opening it and it didn't work. Hasn't worked since.

And yeah, I'm on a Mac, so I can't just download the latest JRE. And same deal with the files.

Finally you've collapsed the CP,chesslo!

I couldn't collapse mine.. I wasn't trying to hard though..

Is there any phoenix 3.5 CP that shows which lines should be valley folded and mountain folded?

Hi evereyone,

finally I get guts enough to enter this  If 3.5 is similar to 3.0 I should say that after collapsing you should move frontwards the further 5 zig zag layers from both sides re arranging in a triangle formed in the middle, but I'm very bad explaining CPs and bases; also tail seems to be consecutive inside reverse folds. Good luck.

This is my 16x16 cm colored wrapping paper Phoenix 3.5 (CP solution from a friend). Though some details are missing in the head and the legs needs a second try but still, considering the size, I'm pretty proud of my baby

1/3. The CP is built on a 36 x 36 grid.

John,

Study the phoenix picture in Kamiya's site. Also study the various pictures of the 3.0 phoenix in this forum. Those should give enough tips on how to fold most of the parts.

You'll also find really good instructions on how to fold the tail section in one of the threads in this forum.
I also do card models -- http://cutfoldpaste.blogspot.com

I spent last night making the folding pattern in Oripa, and then today collapsing the cp. It's actually a really simple model as long as you get the first few steps in the folding sequence figured out.
I'd post a picture if I wanted to finish the model, but since I folded it out of 21cm tissue foil, it's not gonna look great no matter how much time I want to spend on it... Gonna have to make more paper this weekend I guess.

Hey Trekker_1983, you're lucky I don't want to study right now.
Or maybe I should say thanks for distracting me.

I hope that's clear enough. (blue as mountain, red as valley)
