Night Hunter diagrams? NOT.

Hi,
This recent posting claims that diagrams for my Night Hunter, opus 469, are available for download. They're not. Diego Quevedo has designed an owl based on my crease pattern that therefore uses a similar base, but it diverges substantially; anyone expecting "Night Hunter" will be pretty disappointed, I think, so I would appreciate people not representing Diego's model as mine.

Also, http://oriproyectos.blogspot.com/ is using a photograph of Night Hunter from my website, which is both rude (the author didn't ask to use it) and misleading (since the link leads to Diego's owl). I would appreciate the photograph being removed.

:o So, Robert, your saying he tried to diagram your "Night Hunter", and then he put it on the internet, all without your permission?

PS: Big fan of yours

Not quite. Diego reverse-engineered the base from my CP, developed an owl from the base, diagrammed it, then asked me if he could distribute his diagrams. I said yes, just don't call it "Lang's Night Hunter" so as not to confuse people. As it turns out, the blog in question is Diego's. He has now removed the misleading picture and caption, so things are OK now. I'm fine with his distributing his diagrams (and I do thank him for asking first, and for acknowledging in the diagrams where he got the base).

Actually, he's saying that these are not the diagrams for his Night Hunter, and that he detests them being portrayed as such.

I, also, am a big fan of yours Mr. Lang :)

Oh... okay. It's good that he asked first...

Wow.

Dr. Lang, I've been drooling over that "Night Hunter" picture of yours for many many months. I hope you have a book forthcoming with diagrams for yours.

Meanwhile, I'm going to get to work on the diagrams Diego posted. It looks like the body does not come out as full. But it's excellent nonetheless.

On the mega-upload site look for the download button (on top right side of the page) fill in the code which is on the left of the download button and click download, then you should be able to download the diagram[/quote]
