In steps 136-145 the layers that form the front leg/toes appear independent from each other at the bottom but after step 64 mine seem 'nested' inside one another and I can't see where I've gone wrong. Can anyone help?

the pleats are indeed nested within one another. steps 136-145 is basically un-nesting them.

another one of my favorite designs! have fun folding this one! the legs are tricky but once completed it will make sense why they are the way they are. good luck!

After reading everyone's replies, I'm afraid I still don't understand the feet. This is from folding from the diagrams and not the CP. The main thing I'm stuck on is step 140. I could prolly figure out the rest if I could get this first bit.
