Hoang Trung Thanh - Ninja Shadow (CP)

Post by Diopside »

Hello, I'm a new member on this site, I'm 15 years old. I'm from Hungary. I would like to ask for help for the shadow ninja CP, I found it on http://origami.artists.free.fr/Hoangtru ... iminha.pdf

I started to make it, I divided it horizontally to 32 and I made the head of the dragon, then I wanted to make the ninja, but I couldn't. I need help in making the ninja, and how the dragon becomes shorter and have scales. :?

:( Sorry! I tried to fold it (the ninja part), but I couldn't figure it out.
Pretending my base was correct, I had no clue how to shape it.
If only the cp indicated mountain and valley folds...

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to just fold the ninja with the sword from a square? If so, could someone help me modify the cp so that would work, or do I just have to crop the ninja base out of the cp since it's a long rectangle?

if you crop out the ninja alone, you can't just use a square. i counted the grid, and its a 46x32 grid for the ninja.

lol at first i thought it was 48x32 when i was drawing on the creases. i didnt go like top-down, i just went wherever, and always ended up with a skewed pattern. so, i recounted, and found out there were actually 46, not 48. i hate not having a printer

Thanks Lephantome92 for your help. Do you happen to know if I could fold the ninja by itself cropped out or would that affect the folds of the model?

I don't think there's any sort of problem. since the dragon's body is connected to on end of the ninja, and not to like the middle of his back, I don't see if there are any problems

here is a video of some origami and it has the shadow ninja in it as being the hardest origami to make if you just want to see that skip to 1:22 and it will show a front and back view of it.

thanks to iOrigamimaker from youtube for making the video
