Myrmidon ver 5.0 Crease Pattern!

The Myrmidon ver 5.0 cp is up! I called the model a Myrmidon, although it is really the character Ike from Fire Emblem. This is the result of a year a designing for my IB project. My presentation at my school is tomorrow. I drew the crease pattern and scanned it with the school scanner. A big thanks for everybody who helped with the rescue mission.

This crase pattern is only for the advanced crease pattern folder. A good plus is that every fold needed to collapse the base is included in the cp (unless I made a mistake or forgot something [I don't think I did]) and each fold is marked for mountain or valley.
If you are going to fold it, be warned- It is really hard to collapse. Howver, if you are the type of folder (like me!) who can collapse the base of a cp but have no idea how to get from the base to the finished model, then this is for you! It is very easy to get from the base to the finished model once collapsed.

I encourage everybody to try this out this crease pattern! It's a very impressive peice. Suggestions/variations are welcomed! Please post a picture of your result. Happy folding!

Wow that is one complicated CP! What is the project that you're doing for school? Sounds really interesting. Do you have a pic of the finished product? Congratulations your hard work of researching has paid off!

Whoa, that's awesome! I probably won't be able to fold it though (It looks way beyond my skill level :( )

WOW I looked at the pic-what a complex model. I think Takashi and RyoKamiya have some new competition!

What does each line's color represent (valley/mountain fold)?

EDIT: Never mind this post, I just noticed the picture at the bottom of the page. :o

It doesn't matter anyway does it? It's the opposite if you turn your paper over.

Looks really good, I like your other models too. Maybe I'll try this one out. Is that the base posted in the viewtopic.php?t=3492 thread?

Yes, the base is the one from that thread.
I'm really excited somebody (FINALLY) decided to fold this (DONT GIVE UP!!!).

I'll add the model's picture above the crease pattern as to not be ambiguous.

Good luck!
