Why hello there freinds, can someone help me with satoshi kamiya wasp 2.0 I got the crease pattern drawn out, but I don't know how to colapse it, can anybody help me?

I've never folded this model. However, the crease pattern appears to show distinction of fold directionality by the boldness of the creases. Good luck with this model and be sure the post your results!

Having already done this model, I can tell you how I did it when I collapsed the base. First, start with the creases around the center (the ones that looks like boxpleating), but don't flatten yet. You can also fold the parts on the edge of the paper now or keep them for last. Then, collapse the center part (this is the most difficult part). Also, like pereze told you, the bold lines on the crease pattern represent valley folds. This should help you out when collapsing the abdomen part. Also, remember to flatten that part before everything else. Well, I hope I helped you and good luck with this complex model.

i hv done this as well, simply mf and vf the lines, there are bold ones and not so bold ones

This one is not based on ratios with sqrt(2), but on a division by 13 of the sheet : the 45° pleats' width is 1/52 of the paper's diagonal.

The division is given just above the CP. 5:4:4 means that on a 13 divisions, the distance between the upper corners and the two main points on the upper side are respectively 5, 4 and 4 units.

well.. i have the cp printed out... but on copy paper i dont think thats going to work. so what kind of place would blow it up for me?

When you use 50 cm x 50 cm paper you will have 12 cm long model wasp.
