Hi all i am about to atempt to make the Eupatorus gracilicornus form insects ii and just wanted to know what size tissue foil would work best for this model i wasnt sure about the size as it looks quite a complex model with all the little anteni and wings etc.
would a 10inch square be big enough or should i go bigger?
Thankyou

I've folded it from 10 inch japanese foil before and it turned out pretty well. It does end up very small, so it depends on the thickness of your foil more or less.

I have also folded it from 10" Japanese foil. I was able to finish it, but it did not turn out as well as I would have liked. The size was a bit small. I would recommend a square 15 inches or larger.

I did this model with a 11 inch square of tissure paper i made up in black and dark green. It turned out prity well, well im more than happy with it. It turned out sabout 4 inches or so a nice size i think around the size id like most of my insects to be here or there.
I wonder what one to atemped next the choice is endless.
kind regards
Steve
