Have you folded a blintzed frog base before? When you make one of the modules, you do this. Our member, Brimstone has made a video on how to do it. Look at the first eight seconds of the video and you should be able to make it.

Im having trouble doing steps 124-126 on Kamiya's Smilodon, working on the back legs :( i just dont understand what is meant by the "inner edge" and the "edge in front," and i cant seem to get those steps to look right... Any help is appreciated. Here are some photos of where im at:

Which edges/layers are being swivel folded?

I don't really feel like folding this again and taking pics (lazy me), so I'll draw on yours. I marked the valley and mountain folds that you should do the swivel on. The innermost layers on that section (not on the actual leg) are folded down (assuming the model is oriented like your picture), and the layer on the inside of the leg is folded left (again oriented like your picture). The leg will not lie flat.

Heres your picture with the fold locations marked (not exact, just approximate)

Hope this helps!

hmmmm ok thanks zoraz... i think i got it  its just mine didnt look like it did in the diagrams, where it seems like the inside of the leg is a completely different flap than the outside. I shaped the legs the best i could anyways. Thanks for the help ^_^

nice folding! my only problem with it is that the head looks a little big for the body.

Good job!!! use some stronger paper and shape the body with sharper creases and it would be great!!!

@legionzilla Tant paper is quite thick and strong, but its hard to make sharp creases because you have to work with the model in 3D, so you cant press the creases again anything flat to make them very sharp. Give the model a try and you'll see  but thanks for the comments :D

@ArmyTim I think the head looks big because of the angle of the picture i took. The head is closer to the camera than the rest of the body.

I'm having trouble on steps 56-58 (I think), the point where you need to form a pleat whilst simultaneously pushing in two triangular regions at the sides of the central region. From what I can tell the central region is supposed to form a similar pleat but offset from the main pleat, however all I seem to do is end up with a crumpled mass of paper at the back when I try and create this offset pleat, can anyone give any pointers on these steps?
