but yeah i think you are either gonna have to buy the magazine or atleast ask some who has it to scan it or something

To anticipate a flame war, torrents does not comply with copyright... so it is best not to talk about it, or at least not to blatantly admit that you use it

Very true... p2p is completely legal. What is often shared via torrents is copyrighted material and that is not legal.

Many gaming companies distribute their games or patches via p2p which is completely legal.

Things always depend on context. There's nothing wrong with buying a oneway flight ticket to caribbean.

However, buying that flight ticket right after you bragged about knowing the hiding place of a bank robbery's booty, then it's highly suspicious.

Does anybody know the starting size to finished model size ratio? I have been using 50x50cm paper for all the models i've folded lately, and this model does not seem to be too complex so i dont think it needs such a large size...

Recommended size?

25-35cm is a good size. 15cm is possible, I did it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It is a nice model, not so complicated except for step 35, the diagram really doesn't show all you have to rearrange to accomplish it. It's funny I just did it for a japanese friend who brought me excellent paper and a book, in exchange (beside the money of course

) with the first sheet I did this for him

about the size it can be done in 10x10 cm

I suggest to get the magazine, and use a paper with good fold memory but not so fragile to ripping, a thin kami paper will do

I'm not too proud to admit I'm using torrents. I use them for music but I have the habit to delete music I don't like and those I like I buy on real CD (because that still much nicer then some virtual stuff), the same with movies and series like Battlestar Gallactica. For instance I downloaded the Battlestar Galactica because we had to wait at least a year after the official release in the US before those lazy distributors decided to make a box of a season here in Belgium. It like we live in the past as they just started here to air the First!! season of that epic show on television. Of course I bought the whole four seasons when they came available here.

For Origami, well, I downloaded the Tandeidan Convention books because they are either sold out, difficult to get or just utterly expensive. If I have the opportunity to buy them (or any other book) I don't mind shelling out some Euro's. Many books are out of print and the change I come across them in a country like Belgium (where 80% of the population never heard of the word Origami and of 95 % of those who actually know it are thinking it's only about folding cranes, hats and boats) is the same as finding a magic pot of gold in your backyard. In other words, nearly impossible.

Popular works I buy directly since they are available in some online bookshops inside Belgium. But for all the rest, download first, buy later if the opportunity presents itself.
