1st, any one know how to change a user name? Accidently used my email as my user. Oops.

Question at hand. I am looking at the dragonfly by Robert Lang in his book, "The Complete Book of Origami." Step 4 says to unfold the flaps covering the model as if undoing an outside reverse fold." I understand the words, but can't seem to make this work. The fold does not seem to flow with the current state of the model. Any suggestions or tips?

I'm not completely new to origami, but have really only dabbled with it with simpler models.
