There's always ReferenceFinder. You can change the proportion from a square to the proportion of the flag CP, and then input as many coordinates as you need.

Flag CP=square.

Hehe - must be an optical illusion. It seems taller than it is wide.

I'm afraid it's not a square. It's a rectangle with proportions 1:1,15625.
You can fold it from a square as well, though. It will just be a bit shorter then, but will still look very much like an American flag.

According to Robert J. Lang the flag is folded from a square:

Like I said, the flag can be folded from a square and will still result in an American Flag, but the CP itself is actually made for a rectangle of the aforementioned proportions.

If you check the angle of the lines in the CP you'll notice that they're not precisely 30 degree angles.

It is completely square.

That is probably due to the CP image being stretched somehow. There is no other reason those lines shouldn't be exactly 30 degree angles. You can find the original here. Let us know if this one, too is a rectangle :P

And yet that 30 degree line isn't an actual 30 degree line..

Hey Adam,

It is for me. Just checked.

Hmm, well, then I guess Inkscape is acting up, since it clearly shows that it's a 30 degree line.

Ignore what I said then.

a square without any doubt

the design is based on a square in a way that once folded i will acquire the proportions of a rectangle, after all that too was thought about when designed.

you can see the "process" and the unfolded square here:

Hey Efrain.
You see the crease emnating from the bottom right corner on Jared`s pic?
That is when you start a crease from that corner, pivot it so the bottom left corner lies on the horizontal centre line, whilst maintaining the right corner creases location.
