Thanks for the reply. Yes I do have an idea too. I've been concentrating on the spinner aspect for now. I think any elevation caused by a point at the bottom will only cause the "top" to wobble and stop short so it isn't a priority for me.

You guys should try making a hexagonal flasher and pushing the sides in, youre explaining in to much detail! :P

Well, in the first place, how about showing us all a diagram or image of what you mean. "Picture worth thousand words." In the second place, there is no such thing as too much detail, only too little detail, or people who can't handle much detail in the first place. ^LOL^

i cant upload a pic, dont ask why, but where you see the clear hexagon, stellate the centre.

What are you in China or something? Or are you banned by your ISP from uploading images? ;-)

You mean like a star twist? That's what I had in mind.

I think i understand what readheadorigami means...
it is kind or the same idea i had. I would take the center hexagon and push in the sides of the hexagon and not the whole model. then i would make sort-of a crimp fold on the remaining 3 edges of the spinning point.

now to figure out that goddamn flasher.....

This makes a lot of sense, I'll have to try it.

Check http://www.barf.cc/FlasherIsosimp.pdf and extrapolate it to a hexagon
