alright because looking at the diagrams for the crab, it doesn't use 15 degree angles (which was the requirement for the design challenge), it uses 22.5 degree thinned to 11.25, which, if it was the same, would have made it not eligible for the challenge :B

i know, i changed the angles to 15 degrees for the challenge.

also, when the diagrams are complete, i will post the diagrams for my penguin, malay tapir, tanuki or spetacled bear.
when they are done i will design and diagram more!

http://www.dopdf.com/download.php now you can convert your svg files to pdf files
step 1. choose one of your diagrams and push ctrl-p
step 2. go to the printers available and click dopdf7 and print
step 3. take your new pdf file and share with us :D

Have you actually tried that on those SVGs, Slater? I'm pretty sure it won't work. To turn these SVGs into PDFs, you have to export bitmap. This will export a big PNG. Then you have to convert that to PDF, using whatever PDF-making software/printer you have.

I finally got around to folding Josh's walrus! It was folded from a 15 centimeter (6 inch) square of leopard print kami. Why leopard print? I felt like it. I'm very sorry for the poor quality, but my good camera is still down, so I have to use my webcam for the pictures. :(
Keep folding!

I export each page to eps format and then pdfcreator. But for export to eps I use later version of Inkscape, because newer do not work in this case.

Umm- Josh, hastle is spelt hassle. And by the way,the way I convert my svg's to PDFs is by copying them into word and saving them as PDFs. This is always successful, as opposed to saving them as PDFs in inkscapewhuch never works.

Making a square should be as simple as using the rectangle tool and holding down the shift key, no?
