Dear all,

I read the book "Origami Sequene" and fold the modle Clydesdale horse.

I have problem at step 30 which is an inside reverse fold of the top flap.

The ends of mountain fold line is from the middle point which coincides with the tip of the white flap in the middle down to the raw edge.

If I make the mountain fold line and proceed the inside inverse fold, the model cannot lie flat, can anyone help?

Thank a lot,

George

Dear all,

To make the question clear, I post here the model in step 29, 30 and 31.

For step 31, there is an extra paper in red color.

i have a bad feeling that this is because your starting square was imperfect.

as proof of principle, try doing the same steps with a regular square of kami. if it comes out alright, it is indeed because your starting square was off. if your square was fine, it is most likely because one of your earlier landmarks was slightly off.

nevertheless, i do think it should be possible to proceed anyway. everything will not necessarily line up correctly, but you will be able to get a gestalt of the folding sequence to try again later.

finally figured out that I fold incorrectly step 4 using the wrong reference point.

thanks bethnor for you advice.
