Hello origami artists,
in a good restaurant I found a napkin on my table which looked like a simple rolled napkin held firmly together by a ring - or actually a belt - in the middle out of cloth/paper. But surprisingly if was not a separate ring but the napkin was folded that way.
Any ideas how to fold it or where I can find instructions?
Thanks for help...
Torsten

You can find something similar here - see the bottom fold, "Buffet".
To get something exactly right (if that isn't it), you could go back to the restaurant and inspect their napkins more closely.
Also, a more specific description might help; did the napkin have pointed ends or flat ends? Was the napkin rolled closed all the way around, or was the back open?
(You can get the flat ends by tucking the points of the "Buffet" fold inside the rolled napkin, by the way)
Hope this helps.
