It's too hard! I can't follow crease patterns!

Wow, that is good. I really like the head, and it's "RAWR" face. Though I still like the old Charizard for it's simplicity and "cuteness factor".
Just a question: did you model it after KadeChan's Fiery dragon? It kind of looks like that to me.

Thanks!

It's from a completely new base i designed (22.5 degree, similar to the blintz bird base, but not as cluttered), which is quite simple, but provides a good base for many dragon models. (2 wings, head flap, tail flap, and 4 shorter points for legs). I think Kade's dragon has a diagonal pleat in the base of it (for the head), but the pleats i used for the head were done after i folded the base for this model, if that makes any sense :).

Your welcome!

Also, sifting through old origami posts, I found that Android Raptor had folded a luxray for the 2009 January Monthly folding challenge! I wish I could ask her for a diagram....do you think if pm'd her that she would respond?

now i'm thinking that i should design something to give them a reason to view this thread. Ideas for next model?

Also, Flame_Kurosei, how did you go about asking for a cp for the luxray?

Erm...!tyza!!, I didn't pm her yet. I'll do that now. EDIT: done.
Oooh, so many choices. I would ask you to make an aggron, put its color changes would be so hard to create.
Could you fold a single color aggron? Would that be possible or too crazy to consider?

If an aggron's too crazy I'd like to see you fold a magikarp. oh, uh, Please.
Hope you find something (even if it's not from me) that you'll like and fold--that would be awesome!!

ok, i'll try an aggron, but be aware that there are heaps of folders on this forum better than me. I'll have a bit of free time to kill, since i just finished my physics exam - 2 more subjects to go.
And you should try a pokemon too!

Good luck with your exams and folds! I am sure it will come out nice, whether there are "better" folders at origami than you are. Besides, those "better" folders haven't posted any pokemon, so doesn't that make you better by default? :)

I'm not sure if I should try a pokemon or not...I have this sinking feeling that it isn't going to turn out well.... any (easy) ideas on what I should make?

I am in awe of your designing skills! I think you even beat Satoshi Kamiya!! jk it's a really nice model! would I to have tried, i probably wouldve ended up making it so hard it was near impossible to even put on paper. yours is really cool!

Thanks Lephantome92! I'm sure you would still do great--regardless of complexity. Are you going to try to design something? May I suggest a whirlipede?
