Looking for a racing car.
Hi,
I'm looking for a model of a racing car. For now all I've found is a beetle and a toy car but I would something more like a formula 1 car... I'll paint it red of course!
Thanx!

hi thevoid and CDF,
If I remember correctly, that racing car is modular and is made of 7 sheets of paper. It was designed by Max Hulme in response to some commercial work offered by the Financial Times newspaper.
Diagrams don't exist I think, which is a shame since the model is so realistic. I think at some stage the pieces were glued, but this is understandable considering that the model was commissioned.
I think there is a nice racing car model in either Tanteidan 7 or 8.

thanks very much for your both answers!
I don't how to get these Tanteidan issues but, well, I don't have nor the skill or the experience to try models such as the one I would like to do!
But I'm improving myself everyday and yesterday I finally decided to buy what I needed to cut the paper so I bought nice paper with nice colours and textures which a lot nicer to fold!
and now I'm gonna try to fold a model found on the Internet, it doesn't matter which one, the challenge is to fold without being helped by the pictures!

Yes, of course it doesn't exactly look like a formula 1 but I extend the challenge to fold something more realistic, including steering wheel and the aerodynamic stuffs everywhere!
Nobody interested?!
Anyway, it looks more like a formula 3 or 3000 or maybe more like an Indy car...
Anyway great enough for me!

Fumiaki Kawahata designed a Formula-1 car, and the diagrams
are in this year's "special addtion" diagram booklet for Tanteidan
members (not for magazine subscribers), like the Icarus was last year.
I haven't seen the model yet, but I guess it must be pretty good!
I'm not sure if it was already distributed, or not yet.
