Hi,
Can someone help point me in the right direction on a project.
I need to create an eight inch diamond for a production item in a magic act.
It needs to fold flat (or flatish) so that it can be concealed within a jacket or dress before the magical production. It would then need to pop open on its on or with very little movement on the magicians part.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Yes, there is such a model called "Snap Hexahedron" by Larry Hart. Diagrams can be found in British Origami Magazine 203 from August 2000. It's a fun model, but unfortunately I don't know where else you might find the diagrams than on the source given above.

Thanks for the heads up. I Googled the "Snap Hexahedron" and found a couple of YouTube video instructions and som templates. That gives me a starting place but I really need a Diamond shape like a cut diamond that would be in a solitare ring.
Any other ideas would be welcome.
Are there Orgami experts that take on Custom projects for a fee?
