Re: Need help to find folding instructions
I can give you some names, you'll have to search for the diagrams.
The blue ones on the right are called Traditional japanese Camelia and a video for it can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFargQRDGVI
The yellow ones on the left are just windmill bases.
I think the pinkish are traditional cicadas and the orange ones some basic butterflies. As for the green ones I have no idea.

The camelia, windmills and butterflies are already done, the only problem are the cicada-like-ones - i guess the red, green and purple ones are the same. its really weird that theres no diagram for those on the internet, since they look actually pretty simple.
but thanks for the help!

As far as I know there is a youtube channel, happypuppytruffles, specialising on traditional models. I'm sure that there is a video of the cicada. Maybe you'll even find the green models, which I think are traditional too.

I think you could use any simple model that is flat and then use alot of different colors and sizes. Maybe a simple jumping frog instead of the cicada. These things are really pretty. I've seen something similar being done with sipho mabona's swallow and koi.

Maybe is not the same model, but for a similar butterfly you could try http://www.nickrobinson.info/origami/pe ... /mom18.htm and for a similar cicada try http://www.nickrobinson.info/origami/pe ... /mom10.htm
