Marc Kirschenbaum's Bee comes to mind, but I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for. I'm pretty sure there are diagrams somewhere though.

Diagrams for the bee in question (Kirschenbaum's): http://www.origami.cz/Pdf/bee.pdf

An existing forum topic on the bee: viewtopic.php?t=6241

There exists another "bee" model by John Montroll in this book: http://www.giladorigami.com/BO_TeachYourself.html

But, it may be a bit simple, if my assumptions on your tastes are correct.

There is also another, rather complex model of a bee by Jong Yong Ik, which can be found here:

if and when i can work CP's out i would love to attempt the honey bee.

What ive been trying to find is a british bumble bee there very big fat round bees so was wondering if anything like that has ever been made at all?

If not i will just have to wait till i can work CP's out and go with the Honey bee.
