Dinner Setting / Table Settings

Post by Red »

Howdy all. Again.

Now, before I'm condemned to crucifixion by someone feeling a little vindiciive, I'd like to ask if I could find good looking origami models of the following:

- Plates (Besides flat pieces of paper cut into circular shapes)
- Trays
- Knives
- Forks
- Cups (I've found some models that look good, but I'd like to see any other suggestions on this)
- Bottles

If anyone here knows of any models of the above objects, I'd be grateful. Heck, I'd be happy to share some diagrams of my own.

Thanks,

Red.

There's a model that shows a plate with a fork and a spoon, but I can't find it back.

I think this is what you're talking about: http://web.mit.edu/chosetec/www/origami/noknife/

Also, here's a good bottle: http://www.giladorigami.com/D_Real_Thing.pdf

Well, here's the table and chairs. It looks like it would be easy to pleat in some place settings and then fold this model if you just used a larger paper. I don't think there is a CP released though.

Red, are you looking for books that contain these models? Have you tried looking for them through the Origami Database and Gilad'd Origami Page?

Jusding the book by it's cover (although I know I shouldn't), NOA Magazine #459 seems like it would be very helpful.

You can find CP for wonko's Bear Mug and Tea Cup, in his blog.

Hope this helps :).
