Hi everyone. Can you please tell me if the following model already existed? I folded it yesterday, and I wish to know if there are any known records of someone else having folded it before that. Here is a picture from the top. I know it looks a lot like David Brill's
Masu Box, but if you look at the second picture, you'll notice that its structure is way different.
And the following is a picture of the model upside-down.
There are a lot of origami shadow boxes that look similar to this box, although with different proportions. There are for example Katrin and Yuri Shumakov's. Is the structure of any of those shadow boxes similar to that of the box I folded? Or are there any other origami boxes with a similar structure? I appreciate it if you can tell me the name of the related model and its creator, as well as its source. Even better if you can show me the model.
Thank you so much in advance.

Thank you, origami_8. From the conversation you linked, I understand that that's
Masu Box created by David Brill. To fold that box, you roll the paper as you give each side the proper volume, and you lock the bottom in the end. In my case, I started with the bottom instead of the sides. For that reason, mine has a single layer on the bottom with no locks, and it ends up with that square hole that's only visible when turning the box upside down... unlike Mr. Brill's. Finally, his model is folded from an A4 sheet, while the one I folded was from a square. It's not the same model.
Mr. Brill's diagrams:

I appreciate your help

I'm still working on the box design. I wanted to alter my original question a bit: Are there other square origami box models with thick sides, aside from Dave Brill's
Masu Box?
I've made significant changes to the design:

I'm currently creating a single-sheet closed box with a handle; I'm very ahead with the design. You can fold more than one and stack them by embracing the one on top with the handle from the one underneath. When I create this type of "different" practical models, it's important for me to know what's already out there. So, (1) do you know of any other single-sheet self-closing (closed) boxes with handles? (2) Do you know of others that are stacked together how I described? Thank you.

Sy Chen and I would like to know if anyone, before 2013, already knew this specific origami technique for wrapping gifts.

I'm working on a simple stand for things like medals and plates. Might one of you know if basically the same model already existed?
Maybe it was presented as a stand for something different from what I mentioned. Thanks in advance.
